ASU Sunrise Graduation Photos
Alivia’s ASU graduation session started bright and early at sunrise on the Tempe campus.
The soft morning light was beautiful from the very beginning and gave us the perfect setting for both classic graduation portraits and more candid moments.
She brought both a short white dress and a long white dress, which gave the session two different looks while still keeping everything cohesive. Along with the more polished portraits, we played with movement by having her run with her ASU stoles and incorporating intentional motion blur into a few of the photographs.
Those movement photos ended up being some of my favorites from the session because they brought a little more energy into the gallery while still feeling like her.
So Much Variety in a 30-Minute Session
And the best part? Everything in this gallery was photographed during one of my 30-minute ASU mini sessions.
A shorter session doesn’t mean every photo has to look the same, or staying in the same location the whole time. With a little planning, we still had time for two dresses, graduation details, classic portraits, movement, and plenty of variety throughout her gallery.
For ASU grads who want beautiful graduation photos without needing a full hour, a mini session can still give us so much to work with.
